On the second arrow of the last end of the first half… there was a lovely miss! As IANSEO was not connected during the comp, the image is of each arrow shot in order. My first arrow is the middle, then top then bottom on the trispot target.

The worse part of having a score like this (in comparison to what I normally do), is not really understanding yet what happened. Yes it was a trispot which I haven’t shot on for a couple of years but technique wise I was OK. The miss happened when the clicker went to quickly and that is also a strange thing for me to have happen.
The best part of the day was even after the qualification round ended, I felt as if I could shot another 60 arrows. I was very strong physically and had zero issue with anything at all. I cannot remember the last time where I had the desire to keep going.
But in this case, that was all for me. I did not know that there was a cut. Top score was 593! Last year, everyone went through so I actually thought I was going to do duels until I was told that it was over for me. A little p*ssed of course…
I am still ranked first Nationally in Women’s Masters and 5th in Women’s Seniors.
So what comes next?
Well, there is the XMAX Challenge coming up so that will be 4 more scores before year end! I will figure out what happened during my next training or perhaps it will all be OK so I can blame the awesome burger I had the night before.
On my trispot…
The miss was on the top target into the foam!
All my warmup arrows were shot in the center (as I have been on a 40cm full face normally, I wanted to feel grouped before scoring).
