Grouping arrows is cool but why can they not be in the 10 ring?

This was the last competition of the XMAS Challenge and the last competition for 2024!
As was learned the day before in Södertalje, IANSEO is awesome for doing remote competitions. This was the first time my home club had this kind of holiday shoot so it was a lot of fun to see what would happen.
I had also not done a 30 arrow scoring previously. This format is rather popular in Sweden as is 36 for outside. I am not sure why it works so well here but it gives another challenge for scoring.
The top image is from the last end… 10 9 9. Just look at that group! Happy that the technique is working but just need to play with the sight a little to get them all in. As the groups are getting better, there is also the need to swtich back over to tri-spots. I will probably keep the full face for the next comp then make the change.
Technique focus was trying to put all the little things together on every shot. Having three competitions in four days meant that my brain was seeing things in a performance focused environment. There is a certain clarity to that. Training is too relaxed to see what happens when the clock is ticking so I will be adapting my sessions accordingly.
ESM –> 85 As I did pay for the whole target, my arrows made sure to use a lot of it.
I am happy with the day and that this Challenge is complete. Next comp is a week away.
