As I focus on the ideal, I am making lots of life changes. Each one builds upon the last. There is complete rejection of past habits and a tremendous effort to dissect my beliefs. Additionally, much coffee has been consumed.
Yesterday, I stumbled on to a site specializing on old books –> www.forgottenbooks.com. Some of these items are more than 200 years old and are making me yearn for long Nordic nights by the fireplace while devouring works by authors who existed before my grandparents.
Today, I am starting and probably finishing “The Miracle of Right Thought” by Orison Swett Marden (1910). I have never heard of this author before but I like what I have read today so I will explore more.
So…
There are many passages regarding thoughts and what positivity can do. This is the stuff associated with the well-known ‘Law of Attraction’ which I have read about previously and do apply to my outlook on life.
What was weird was that my mind drifted over to magnets and how opposites attract. I was questioning how it can be true if positive thoughts are supposed to attract other positive thoughts if magnetism is supposed to attract opposites. Yes, others have probably thought this too but this was my first time actually thinking about an explanation for my life.
When magnets – North South – line up end to end, I challenged that it was not an alignment of opposites rather it is an alignment in unison. The second magnet replicates the position of the first. Everything falls into an order that resembles the first. Yes I have had a lot of coffee today.
The thought continued…
Do I lead with my mind or my heart? What is my alignment?
…obviously KQ.com is going in a new direction.
